We are seeking an organised, proactive and enthusiastic Design & Technology Technician to support the day-to-day running of the Design & Technology department in a busy school. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing practical resources, maintaining workshop equipment and materials, ensuring a safe working environment, and supporting staff and students during practical lessons.

We are keen to hear from you if you have:

• a strong commitment to supporting high-quality teaching and learning by maintaining a safe, organised, and well-equipped Design & Technology workshop environment
• excellent organisational, communication, and practical IT skills, with the ability to prepare materials, maintain equipment, manage stock effectively, and keep accurate records
• experience working in a Design & Technology workshop, educational setting, or a practical technical support role (desirable)
• the ability to prepare resources confidently, maintain and service workshop equipment, follow health and safety procedures, prioritise competing demands effectively, and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the Design & Technology department
